Alyosha was more of a realist than anyone. Oh! no doubt, in the monastery he fully believed in miracles, but, to my thinking, miracles are never a stumbling-block to the realist. It is not miracles that dispose realists to belief. The genuine realist, if he is an unbeliever, will always find strength and ability to disbelieve in the miraculous, and if he is confronted with a miracle as an irrefutable fact he would rather disbelieve his own senses than admit the fact. Even if he admits it, he admits it as a fact of nature till then unrecognised by him. Faith does not, in the realist, spring from the miracle but the miracle from faith. If the realist once believes, then he is bound by his very realism to admit the miraculous also.

O Alexandre postou essa mesma passagem de Wittgenstein no blog dele e fez um comentário muito bonito.
Seguindo o bom exemplo de vcs resolvi dar uma de blogueiro. Dá uma olhada lá se quiseres....Outro dia vou colocar teu blog na minha lista.Coloquei uns primeiros para ensaiar (cesar, giovani, Alexandre e do ronai). Preciso aprimorar a coisa.
Essa frase do Wittgenstein parece-me intelectual demais. Soa-me como alguém que descreve a crença religiosa a partir de fora, conjeturando como ela deve ser para um crente. Eu, como crente que sou, não me identifico com ela. Para mim -- e também para a maioria dos crentes que conheço -- a crença religiosa é muito mais produto de um sentimento do que de um comprometimento (mesmo que apaixonado) por um sistema de referência. A impressão que eu tenho é que é justamente o contrário: não há esse comprometimento. Quanto mais uma pessoa se aprofunda na fé, menos importam os sistemas de referências. O crente vai aos poucos se anulando, por assim dizer, ou anulando seu ego, e deixando que a realidade interior e exterior lhe dite o que pensar...
